Hello. I am a 22 yrs old female. I had my menarche at age of 13. After which my cycle never used to come on predicted dates. It used to come after 30 days to even 60 days. My bleeding used to be normal in amount and for 3 days followed by mild spotting for the next 3 days. I had no dysmenorrhea. On and off in cycles some clots could also be seen. My worrying point is that recently my second last period began after 29th day with spotting and then gradually peaked on third day and I bled openly for just one day. And then this last period followed after 20th day with regular bleed. Can you help me about why has the cycle's duration decreased because its making me very exhausted and depressed.

What has your life been like lately? There are several common factors that will affect your period. Stress, illness, exhaustion, malnutrition, and medications to name a few. Have you talked to your doctor about your irregular cycle?
