I am 20 years old. 2 weeks ago I got my period. The last day which was Saturday May 17th I had sex. We used a condom but in order to be sure I took the plan B pill the next day. A week after on Saturday May 24th I got my period again. The bleeding is not normal, I usually get it very fluent and this time is not, plus the color is way too light. I am very worry about this, is there a chance that the pill didn't work? I have been feeling tired and today I almost vomited. Is there a chance that I can be pregnant?

Hi, You said your partner had used condom and after that you even took the pill. So I think that you aren't pregnant (but still not 100% sure), the pill could have caused those vomiting and abnormal bleeding. Sometimes it happens. But I would say that to make sure just take a pregnancy test after a week or two. That will give you an Idea. :)

Anytime there is penile insertion there is the risk of pregnancy. No form of birth control is 100% effective. However, given the circumstances you describe, the likelihood is extremely small. It sounds more like side effects of the Plan B.

But there is no way to tell for sure at this point. You have to until your next period would have been normally due, (June 17 or so) and then see if you get another period. I would wait until Mid July and if you still haven't gotten a period take a HPT or see your doctor.
