Help with finding Low voltage Low current AC switching devices
I am building a circuit. It will all be using AC voltage and current. I am using a very low signal power source (1-2v) and most likely mA to charge a capacitor to 1.5vac once the capacitor reaches 1.5vac I would like to use a switching device (most likely a transistor) to short the capacitor + to - to get a surge that goes through a resistor and a transformer. The circuit is built and sound and works with a hand switch. My issue is I cannot find a transistor or switching device that operates at such a low current and voltage. I looked for a MOSFET but because I don't understand all the ratings I can't find one. Can someone PLEASE point me in the direction of an AC switching device that can turn on at (1-2v) and handle (10-15a) with as little resistance as possible. OR some way of fooling a transistor into thinking its seeing a complete (ON) signal. Or amplifying the signal some way. But I can not add any other power sources other than the low signal source described above. So hopefully there is a switching device I can use. Someone please help.
