Got my Belly button Pierced Extras on cleaning
Okay so I just got my belly button pierced and I'm wondering if I should do anything else besides the salt water to keep it from getting infected.
'The piercer also said that I could put polysporin on the barbell, is there anyting else that helped anyone?
    :) :)

Well there's a particular spray that you can get from the body piercer shop and it has extracts of tea tree oil which helps the healing process a lot faster and stops the redness in about 1 week of using it... ill get the name of this spray and will message it to you..! Mayb try swimming in the beach... that helps it a lot too..! Because of the higher saturation of salt in the water!

I used Saline Solution and sea salt mixture when I had mine done several several years ago, and it healed quick and without infection. The saline supposidly fools your body into thinking that the piercing belongs there (or specifically the ring) so that it does not attack it. It helps it to heal more quick. I would mix the two into a cup and while standing press the cup to my stomach pushing in a little to ensure that their was proper suction. Then I would carefully lay on my back with the cup still firmly in place for around 5 minutes... hope that helps.
