My vagina and fingertips smell like garlic, just out of the shower and its almost over powering. I haven't used fresh garlic, and I can't seem to find anything online that could give me an answer to my problem. It doesn't burn or itch. It smells way stronger after sex. Its very bothering to me to not have an answer for this. Does it have to do anything with ovulation, or is it a infection?

Any different odour from your vagina signifies something is just not right. The Ph level has been disturbed by any number of things; one is foreplay with dirty finger nails or hands; not washing down there thoroughly (dont be offended). You should have googled 'garlic smell from vagina' and you would have come up with all sorts of home remedies to get rid of it.

This isn't a serious problem but has to be addressed. We have nuturally cleansers down there and when this has been thrown off balance other bad things can happen.

What you have is called bacterial vaginosis. Google this for more information.

Symptoms, you may notice a thin white or gray vaginal discharge, odor, pain, itching, or burning in the vagina. Some women have a strong fish-like odor, especially after sex. You may also have burning when urinating; itching around the outside of the vagina, or both.

I have none of that.

Any unusual odor has to be addressed as a potential problem. You may never see a discharge but you still have the odour. So what do you want to do about it, look up more info on line or see your doctor? I would advise, see your doctor.

I don't know of anything that would cause vaginal odor to smell like garlic, even if you eat garlic (fresh or powdered) for every meal.

Obviously you're concerned about this. I would be too. The only one that can give you answers is your doctor. You really won't find the answer online. If that's your goal, you're wasting your time, and possibly risking our health.

It appears it has to be an infection, the only issue is what type. No one can determine that without testing. Time to see your doctor.
