    Your post is quite hard to read, but if I get it you are looking to use an old 12/2 red heat line (Canada I assume) for 120V circuits?
    Code wise I would assume no, but practically it is a definite NO to use it for two 120V circuits. If this happens to be a 12/3, with black, red and white then that's a different story.

    Against code to run a separate wire unless it is in conduit or a cable tray.
