I have a 2007 RX13 Trane Compressor and Airhandler.

Want to know if this is a Fair price for the services rendered.

-replace TXV on 2nd floor air handler
(M-1.0) Pumped down refrigerant and remove failed thermostatic expansion valve on indoor coil,
Install new 2.0 ton expansion valve and liquid line drier. Leak tested new connections. Evacuated
System. Released charge. Started unit. Checked refrigerant levels and operations.

***NO FREON ADDED OR REMOVED** It WAS TRAPPED IN OUTSIDE COMPRESSOR FOR THIS REPAIR.

COST: $885.00 ** Fair or NOT FAIR

You hired them didn't you? Did you get three estimates and this is the lowest ? Where are you located, Canada, UK or the US, SA, whatever? Repair costs and parts vary all over the place for this type of service.

This is an international site; so where are you located and we can go from there ?

Little late for pricing when the Freon has been stored. System is already disconnected.
