Since this usually requires a prescription, has your doctor suggested you take it twice a day? Are you taking it for something other than just as a prenatal? As a prenatal, usually just once a day is the standard dosage. Be sure that you are not taking more than your doctor has recommended. Although this is a water soluble supplement, more is not always better, and in some cases it can be unsafe.
