Honda Civic Hybrid 2006 VSA and IMA light ON
    Hi Community Members,

I have Honda Civic Hybrid 2006. Last week, I have done wheel alignment and after driving 1/2 mile, IMA & VSA light turn on. I changed the gear into parking (Automatic) and gear shift got locked in Parking mode. I left the car for 15 minutes and after that VSA light went off and gear shift lock released. I drove the car to my home and next day IMA light turn off as well. Same thing happened again after 3 days. At the moment, there is no IMA or VSA light at the moment, But I don't want to be stuck in the middle of the road another day. Any help is highly appreciated. Thanks.

You haven't taken to to a mechanic to found out what the computer is showing for codes yet why exactly? 2006 anything is ODB2 and will offer fairly comprehensive self diagnostics for those with the equipment to read them. Cars can't "heal" so the problems never fix themselves. And without knowing what exact codes are in the computer....nobody can even venture an educated guess.

Codes are P0306 and P0a16. I reset the code as it may be related to some other problem as I bought used car. Now I am waiting for the problem to come back so that I can check codes related to this problem.
