Thickened Endometrium. Echogenic material with no vascular signal noted in the endome
Hi my wife delivered a baby girl exactly a month back. She has to undergo C-section and after that she suffered heavy bleeding. Doctors did transfusion of as much as three units of blood. But still she is noticing bleeding every now and then. When we met our regular doctor she suggested a scan and after seeing the reports she said she is fine.
I am providing the impression from the scan
    "Thickened Endometrium.
echogenic material with no vascular signal noted in the endometrial"
Please help me understand her situation better and how can I help her to be normal again. Before pregnancy she never had any issues with the menstrual cycles and they were very regular every 28 days.

Your doctor said she was fine. The scan said she was fine. What more do you want?

There is a BUNCH of stuff that is happening hormonally in your wife right now and this is altering her periods and her bleeding. The post delivery bleeding can last up to six weeks and her cycle might take months to get back into it's old step. As well you should be considering birth control options, while I can attest that a newborn is awesome in preventing sex there will come a time that you will want to and you should talk about if and when you want another.

The best thing you can do to help her right now is change some diapers and help her out around the house and with your new child. There isn't anything you can really do beyond being a supportive father and husband. Everything else will sort itself out in time.
