Hello, first off I would like to say thank you for everyone's responses.
I have a 17 month old whom has had a little cough with some flem for about 2 days. She is also teething her first pair of molars on the top of her mouth. I gave her ibuprofen at 11:30pm 1.87 ml of ibuprofen 50 ml. She currently has a fever & it is 2:12 am. What do I do? Can I give her another dose of ibuprofen or do I have to wait it out. I'm worried. I don't want to just leave her with a running fever. It scares me.
My first time using this website, so I don't know if I am receiving advice from a professionals point of view or not. Will wait in a response.

What temp does your daughter have? How is she acting when awake? Is she eating fairly normal, playing pretty much as usual? Since it has only been a few hours since the last dose, best not to give her more.

Fever is a natural defense, so unless it is quite high, and/or she is uncomfortable with it, you don't necessarily have to treat the fever. Certainly check with her doctor (you can call at any hour of the day or night), if you have concerns.
