I've been taking Losartan for 20 days, & am having a shortness of breath. I was on Lisinopril, but stopped for 9 months because of a dry cough. My blood pressure is 169/90, and I'm wanting to know if I can start taking Lisinopril again.....now! thanks, for any information. Sande

You should have been taking your prescribed meds as instructed and reporting any issues that you have to the prescribing physician. Have you even seen your doctor in the nine months you took yourself off the meds? Do nothing until you have seen your physician, and informed him on what you have done. That should be ASAP.

You did yourself a great harm and disservice not keeping your doctor in the loop.
