    installing combo gfci outlet x7299-w
    Hi,

Im installing a leviton smartlockpro switch and tamper resistant GFCI outlet. "slim design" X7299-w. This is a combo switch and plug. I connected everything according to instructions. The light swtich does not work yet the plug works.
Have tested and everything is getting power.

Would like to have constant power to the plug and able to turn switch the light on and off.

    installed according to instructions.

Both wires have black, white and ground wire.

    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks.

The black and white to the GF side should go to "line", the wire for the light should be on the "load" side. How many wires and what color on the switch side?

    Hi,
I posted images here of the outlet and the instructions.
There are 2 switch leads which indicate on the instructions to connect to the light fixture.

It looks like I did it right but maybe I am missing something.
I loaded the image with numbers/letters to help in communication.

White, black, and ground wires on both ends.

    Also,
The breaker switch only activates this light/outlet.

This is in the kitchen next to the sink so I'm assuming I got the right outlet.
    Thoughts?

    Thanks in advance.

According to the diagram, the white wire "to" the light should be hot. You have a switch loop. The white wire D- "from" the light should be hot and marked black. The wire marked C should be hot when switch is on. Make sure you didn't pull the neutral at the light box. In a switch loop, the hot black in the ceiling is connected to the white lead to the switch, then marked black, the black lead then goes to the black light wire and the neutral goes across and is unswitched. Wiring looks OK but make sure you have power to the switch terminal.
