I know its a lot please read! I had Mirena placed in October of 2013 The Mirena completely stopped my period. Me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex (since the Mirena was still in place) on April 20. I had Mirena removed on the 22nd first thing in the morning. I started Nuvaring that evening sometime around 7ish The doctor told me that as soon as it was out I was fertile again right then and there and from what I read my period was to return 1-3 days after removal. It has been 22 days since the removal of the Mirena and 3 days since the nuvaring came out for the one week break. I do not have any cramping or anything like that but I have been extremely nauseated every day the last week and a half with one episode of actually vomiting and I have been getting headaches everyday the last two weeks, I have also been extremely tired to where I need 2-3 naps a day just to keep going, if these are symptoms leading up to my period when should it be coming back?

Some women will find it takes a few months for periods to resume or become regular again, others start back up the next cycle. Pregnancy is always a consideration when you have sex, protected or not. Since ovulation occurs before a period, and you haven't had a period yet, you may want to see your doctor about having a pregnancy test done to rule out that possibility.

I agree, there is no one "norm" each women's body works and is effected different.
