Sewer smell from laundry room with septic
I have a septic, since buying the house when I do laundry I smelled a sulfur like smell only when doing laundry. Now the smell comes strong from my laundry room when no laundry is running and the smell fills the house when I do do a load of laundry. Any ideas?

I have a septic system and lately the sewer smell fills the house when I do laundry. Also seems that lately the smell permeates from my laundry room constantly. The washer has no smell, laundry smells fine too... any ideas?

Do you have a floor drain in the laundry room? If so, make sure it's trap is sealed by pouring down a gallon or so of water into the drain. That is where I would start first.
