    Ice Maker Tubing
    Ice maker inlet valve tubing is missing a part
    I think it needs a ferrule that goes on
    The tubing first before it screws in the fitting. See picture.

    Compression ferrule. HD carries them.

    Actually, you want a PLASTIC ferrule and metal INSERT sleeve for a plastic tube (see image below). Without the insert, the tube can pull out through the compression ferrule...;) The insert sleeve is not required with copper tubing.

    Of course, you want 1/4" compression, not 3/8" as in the pictures.
