    How do I take off thermostat cover? I am afraid to break it.
    Residential, Heating and AC. I want to put a new battery in.

    Most of the ones I've seen hook at the top. Meaning you carefully pull out from the bottom Be careful because there will be pins that connect to the base you don't want to bend, work slowly.
