    Implantation bleeding or early period?
My boyfriend and I have been trying to conceive for the past 6 months. My periods come every month on the 6th or 7th. On the 22nd of March I took two pregnancy test both were negative. On the 31st of March I begin begin to have light cramps and lower back pains, I went to the restroom and noticed some light pink spots on my panties and when I wiped. The next day the same thing but a little more (I wore a pad the entire day and did not fill it up) but the cramps were a little stronger (but not bad). By March 2 there was nothing but pink/brown spots when I wiped. My period is not due until the 6th or 7th of this month. Could that have been implantation bleeding or an early/irregular period? Almost forgot, I took a blood pregnancy test on the 2nd that came back negative as well. Was it too early to test, if so how long should I wait? I need all the answers I can get.

Its hard to say. It could have been too early, or it could have been accurate. The important thing to remember about qualatative blood tests (unless it is a quantative blood test ordered by your doctor.) while being more accurate then hpts, they also just give a positive or negative reading. So if your levels still aren't high enough to register, then it will still come out negative even though you may be pregnant. I would wait it out until you miss your period. Take a test. (whether it be hpt or a blood test) if it comes out negative again, but you still don't get your period within a week or two, go to your doctor.
