I had carpal tunnel surgery 3 weeks ago, about 4 days ago I began getting very sharp pain going from directly below the incision down 6 in. it is on the underside of my right arm between the bones, I'm not sure if I should go in. It has been hurting so badly I can't stop crying, my surgeon says its swelling & if I'm not better in a week he'll see me, the pain is so bad I don't know if I can wait that long. Any advice would be very helpful.

If your pain meds are not working, it would be advisable to seek medical attention as soon as possible.

That kind of pain is concerning. Go to the doctor or ER and make sure you don't have an infection

Consult with another specialist as early as possible. At-least he will observe and advise.
