Is it OK to take omeprozole while pregnant
I have to take omeprozole for acid reflux. I just found out I'm pregnant. Is it OK to take it while being pregnant?

    Hi Jessietron01,

You may want to ask your doctor about switching to famotidine (Pepcid or Pepcid-AC) to see if that may be a better option for you if you need something stronger than the usual Tums. It is considered safer for use in pregnancy.

You may also find some relief with changes in diet and eating pattern while pregnant. Eating smaller meals throughout the day, avoiding spicy, fatty, and acidic foods, etc. for example.
