I had a hernia repair about 1 1/2 yrs ago and I'm getting severe pain in the same spot? What should I do

I have told my doctor she hasn't done anything

What did she tell you to do?

Get a second opinion at another doctor? That's what I would do if the first one blew it off.

From what I have read, hernias recur more often than not!
Either insist on being examined or see another doctor.

Since this is under Child & Teen Health I am going to ask, are you over 18? If you are, seek a second a second opinion. If you aren't, what are your parents saying/doing about it?
