I had sex about 8 days before my period was due ( a week ago) and I have experienced very light bleeding around the time of my due date but usually I'm very heavy so this is unusual! I've also experienced stomach cramps, tiredness and I've had to go number2 a lot more frequently! Could I be pregnant? Any help appreciated

Are you trying to conceive? Give it a bit more time and see if a more normal period shows up late. It could certainly be due to pregnancy, as odinn7 said, or perhaps it is just an off cycle. If you still don't get a regular period, you could try a pregnancy test. If it's negative, either try again several days later or you could wait and see what happens when you would expect your next period and test at that time if necessary. Certainly you could see your doctor for a blood test which would let you know one way or the other sooner.
