The control panel displays a red light indication LOCKED. Nothing else functions. Light turns off after a few minutes but reverts to red when any other button is pushed. HelP! Thanks.

It sounds like you will need to break out the digital multimeter and test some safeties and wiring if you cannot find an easier fix. It's probably something simple. Here are two more manuals to read and get familiar with what tools you will need:
