    How to Control Anger
How to control anger? Is there any specific exercises or Yoga to control this?

Anger issues require counseling... not yoga to deal with.

It depends on the intensity of your anger issues.

There are about as many ways to control anger as there are people. I have several for myself. They don't always work, and I can be quick to anger, or I can be slow.

I talk to myself. The first thing I say is 'OK, deep breath.' Then I say various things about how much this matters in the great scheme, or how much it matters in light of my good relationship with the person I'm angry at. CURBING ANGER IS A TRADEOFF, as I see it, between driving people away and having friends. On the other hand, stewing isn't good either, nor is being walked all over, so after you have had time to marshall your thoughts, express how you feel in carefully planned words.

YES to yoga, walking, exercise, meditation, good deeds to those less fortunate than you or just being pleasant to anyone you encounter, hobbies, reading, or any of a million other distractions and soothers that decrease the importance of what made you angry in the first place.

Our chemistry plays a part, aside from how we train ourselves. I am like my volatile mother. My sister is like my calm father. It's not a crutch or excuse; I just have more work to do.

It certainly starts with knowing where the anger comes from and then learning how to cope with it through diligent practice until it a habit of thinking before you act or speak, and staying cool, calm, and collected and in CONTROL of yourself, even on a bad day, and your button are being pushed.
