Hello Doc. My son is 5 and half, four years ago we discovered he is allergic to dust mites and pollen from trees and grasses. I was advised to give him claritine when season changes,it helps ,but at times I observe puffy eyes,runny nose before a non stop cough kicks in. I then give him ascoril syrup... usually he would have a full day of bad cough sending him to vomit at times because of too much mucus. To help him sleep I would give him painagon syrup with codeine in it. Kindly advise if am on the right path because I do not want to pump too much medicine into him. Possibly if there are any natural remedies to help him. Thanks Thandi

You really need to get him to an actual doctor who is an allergy specialist rather than attempting to treat him yourself.
