I'm a 21 year old girl and I'm starting to develop feelings for an 18 year old guy. We went to the same school and we go to the same church. I don't know what to do. Should I nip this at the bud or keep talking to him and see how it goes? I know I'm getting ahead of myself but my biggest issue is that if we start to date people in our community will talk smack about the age difference, but besides that he is the perfect guy. Help! What do I do? And how do I find out how he feels without directly asking him !

If people talk stupid things, the are fools and not really your friends. Good way to find out, who are our friends.

Date him, and enjoy yourself.

3 years is really no difference at all . Who really cares what the community thinks. It's up to you to live your own life. Just be natural and see how it goes.

Keep talking and see where it leads and don't worry about what others gossip about. It's not their business, or their life. You are an adult, so is he. Neither of you needs permission to talk, date or anything else.
