    Harbor breeze fan switch repair
I have a harbor breeze fan. Switch broke. Did not get location of wires, bought a universal replacement switch at Lowe's and don't know where to hook wires. I have 4 wires that are unattached, black, red, white, blue. Can anyone tell me where the wires connect. Thanks

Black to black and keep testing combinations to see what works. Color combinations are not an industry standard. Probably a Zing ear 3 speed switch.

See this furnace motors 2 speeds controlled by the fan relay?
The relay has a Normally open and Normally closed switch.
Your switch will be 2 open switches if 2 speed.
Find the "hot leg" with a meter or voltage sensor and install an inline fuse of appropriate amps to energize each circuit, if it's a short it will only blow the fuse.

What does this have to do with the question asked? This is a ceiling fan!
