Hi. I'm going crazy trying to find out who originally wrote the poem with the first line, "Are you tired of my, my darling" that the Carter family turned into a song. I read it was written in 1877. Anyone?

It starts of, are you tired of me my darling, do you mean those words you said; unfortunately the author is unknown. You can find this quite readily, the entire poem, on Google by putting in the first lines.
You need not 'go crazy trying to find... ' these days. It is all out there on the net, all you have to do is have patience and the ability to dig dig dig
