    1099-r tax form
    I did not receive my 1099-r from edwardjones because I paid money for 401k one month back.

    Now I want to do my taxes and want to know how to fill 1099-r. This money is for IRA for getting tax benefit.

    You will NOT get a Form 1099-R for contributing to a traditional IRA.

    If you rolled money over from a 401K to an IRA, you should be getting the Form 1099-R. Call and ask about it.
