How long will 3 shots take to get out of system foe a EtG test
I had 3 shooters 2 from 10:00am/11:00 and one more at 4:30p. How long will it take to get the EtG stuff out?

    40 to 80 hours.

Odinn is being kind. It's more like 60-80 hours, and even that is a guess. Many experts say it can take up to 5 days.

Why are you worried about this? Are you expecting an ETG test? If so, what do you lose if you fail?

You can drink 2 or 3 gallons of water a day trying to flush it out... do your part to help the system work the way it should. (sarcasm font disengaged)

Smoothy, I know you're being sarcastic, but I have to say, remember that most of the people that post here, will likely take you seriously, even though you posted that you're being sarcastic (they'd have to know the meaning of that word to get it!).

So, having said that. Drinking 2 or 3 gallons of water in a day, will kill you! No sarcasm. That amount of water will drown your system. You will die, really die!

Drinking excessive amounts of water, if it doesn't kill you, will make you fail for dilution.

    Do not do this!

Yeah.. I guess you are right... they wouldn't "get" either of the two comments. Or understand what sarcasm is even when its pointed out. It requires a lucid mind to do that.

Exactly! One thing I learned a long time ago. Never assume that anyone that posts here, will understand what you say. You can't be sarcastic (even though I am at times but never to the point where it could be deadly) because most of the posters won't get it.

I remember a person that posted on the dog forum about parvo. When told to see a vet asap, she decided to go online to find answers. I vividly remember when that poster came back and called me an idiot, because she had the answer, she found it online. The answer "feed your dog 2 gallons of bleach, that will kill the parvo virus".

The next day, when her dog died, she posted again, and blamed me, because I didn't warn her that this was a bad idea. I told her to go to the vet, I never told her to give her dog bleach, and never would. That's a death sentence. Sadly, I didn't see her post about giving the dog bleach, until after the dog died because she did it.

It did teach me something. Never be sarcastic (not that I was on that thread), and always make sure the poster knows that what you're posting, especially when it comes to medical issues, or things that can kill you, is a guess. Nothing can beat a doctor, a vet, or actual intelligence.

Um... how stupid do you have to be to not know that giving any living thing bleach, will kill them?

Never assume that someone is as smart as you are. Always assume they aren't.

I just wish they would reduce the time from notice to showing up for the test to 24 hours... then 100% of the people trying to cheat the system will get caught... and have to deal with the consequences.

I am just curious. How does it affect you if a person does or does not get caught? Since you want them to be "caught", it must have some bearing on your life.

Certainly... I've mentioned this before a couple times and you are new enough here you probibly haven't seen it... I have no problem saying it another time. Maybe whoever reads it takes it to heart and they see themselves being in the same situation and helps them make the right choices as a result.

I personally have had two girlfriends killed by drunk drivers while I was dating them before i met my current wife....in fact the last one was the woman I was dating before I met my wife.... I've also had a couple guy friends killed by drunk drivers... and I've also known a few people who have ended up in jail over repeated drunk driving that were cheating the system after previous busts, meaning it was well known it wasn't a one time relapse.

I'm not REQUIRED to have empathy for people who are not doing as they have been ordered to do and continue to drink... and slip through the cracks. A few of the people I've known that ended up in prison for being repeat offenders have also destroyed the lives of their families, in a few cases physical abuse also occurred.

I'm perfectly fine helping someone overcome their urges so they stay clean, I DO have empathy for someone who is trying hard to do the right thing and stay clean, who has actually been abstaining... I don't however have to condone or help someone violating court orders to abstain... and its no different than someone who abuses their spouse, molests children, etc... etc.

THey would never get "Caught" if they did as they were ordered by the court... the randoms tests are in place to try to catch them breaking such orders. If they get "Caught" they have to face the consequences and probibly be forced to face up to their problems and get the help they were avoiding before something happens that results in a very long prison sentence and another persons life is ruined and other spouse, parent or child has to go through life when someone colse to them is taken away from them forever. This is not a victimless situation. And their own families can be included in the list of victims.

Also this site doesn't exist to help people get around the law by helping them get over on random tests.....which MOST of the posts here seem to be clearly about....but to help people stay clean another day, another week, another month, another year from whatever substance is in question..

Since I drive on the same roads they would if they were drinking, visit the same stores, walk the same streets... as do my friends and my family, my neighbors and my co-workers... it DOES very much have a bearing on my life and it does yours and everyone elses as well.

Thank you for the response. You , unfortunately, have been adversely affected by others choices. I have not had any trauma in my life due to other's actions. I cannot imagine the impact those things would have on me.

I don't think anyone really can... or if they do... find out when it happens.. its usually much worse than they imagined. As with a great many other things like losing a parent, a spouse, a child. Some people really never recover from it, but nobody is ever really the same after it.
