Hi there,

We have a Janitrol AC unit (new in 01'). The fan motor burnt out on it so we replaced it.

Now, (next day) the fan kicks on just fine and blows cold air but the unit outside gets really hot. What could this be and how do I fix it?

Is the outdoor fan motor running & blowing a lot of hot air out the top? If so, the coils might need cleaning. An easy & somewhat effective way is to simply use a garden hose with a nozzle & give the coils a good rinse.
