    EtG and blood donation
Would donating whole blood between the time of last drink and an EtG test affect the results of the EtG test? I think removing EtG in the bloodstream before it gets filtered by the kidneys into urine would have to lower overall levels of EtG. Does this make sense or is it totally stupid?

No... if you are going to fail before... you are going to fail after. Donating blood isn't going to change it. Own up to your actions. Stop rationalizing them or looking for ways to cheat the system. There aren't any.

LMAO! Really? You are going so far as to donate "whole blood" to try and pass a test? No, won't work.

What is "whole blood" anyway? Are you talking about draining your body?

Unless you are planning to donate all of the blood in your body and have a total transfusion your plan is an epic fail.

It was really an question from curiosity. I didn't say I was being tested for EtG, or anything else. I've seen so many questions about EtG here, and was surprised nobody else ever asked the question. Sorry to ruffle feathers.

Agree, no it has no effect on testing

It would only remove about 10% of the blood from your system. I would expect it would have a minimal effect on the results. It might have a little, but it wouldn't be something to rely on.

So you made an account here to ask thsi question that really has no relevance to you...just because you were curious? I have trouble believing that.

You were surprised that no one else ever asked if this was a way to fool an ETG test? Why would that be something you're curious about? Most people aren't curious about how to fool a system that is in place for a very good reason, unless they themselves are in the system and trying to fool it.

You didn't ruffle any feathers. You sparked our curiosity, because we're not buying that you're just curious.

But to answer your question, no, donating blood won't fool an ETG, unless you plan to donate all the blood in your body, which no one would do because it would kill you.

So that would be an epic fail.
