Can I pass an EtG test after 72 hours
I drank on Sunday night and I have to take a urine EtG alcohol test on Thursday afternoon will I pass it ? And what should I do to pass it ? I herd drinking a gallon of water the morning of the test and urinating at least 3 times before you give your sample should help is this true?

Sure it will help...if you want to fail the test for dilution.

At that time frame, you're probably ok anyway.

What do you mean by dilution?

Drinking too much water will dilute your urine and they test for that as many people think that doing this will flush their system so they see it as an attempt to hide something...thereby causing a failure.

I read somewhere that if I take creatinine pills it will help avoid the dilution markings? Is this true?

We're not here to try to help you cheat a test. You asked if you would pass after 72 hours and I told you that you probably would. Beyond that, you're on your own.

Thank you odinn7 for your response I appreciate all your information as I need to take this test apparently for my employment and I was just concerned about me drinking last on Sunday night at around 11pm and taking the EtG test on Thursday at like 4pm so you think this would be enough time that has gone by for me to pass it ?

Just think... if you weren't drinking like your were supposed to... you wouldn't have to worry at all. Seriously...was it really worth it? Days worth of worry....before the test...and days more waiting for the results to come back?

Me personally...I think thats a lot of worry and stress.

Thank you smoothy for the tong lashing as you are right but you did not help me answer my question at all so if you have some positive feedback I would appreciate some assistance than getting a philosophical answer !

Really... that was rather rude. I'm not the one legally required to abstain from alcohol consumption. You wouldn't be getting popped for random ETG tests if you weren't.

Also... if you had bothered to read the site rules you agreed to before posting... you don't get to specify who gets to answer or how.

Maybe next time you get nailed good rather than have a chance to pass like this time. Passing this one is still not a given, only a possibility. Then maybe as I suggested you will own up to the problem and do whats required to address the drinking problem. Before you incure further legal problems.
