    Skin lightning
    Hello ,
My scenario is I am having vitilligo since I was two years old, done so many treatment but not any positive out put .now I am in Uk since last 10 years, been advised from one close friend that her uncle who is also suffering with vitligo he done skin depigmetation through monobenzone cream which is manufactured at one of well known pharmacy in London but it will ordered just on GP prescription so I asked my GP who provide me prescription , I'm using that cream 20% monobenzone last two years . I always get that cream in 50 g jar which I hardly used on my face and it cost me two much... is any one out there who will happy to help me out because I want to dipigmitized my whole body now but can't afford that expensive cream so any suggestion or advice will be appreciated if some one make and used that cream at home or bought cheaply from somewhere will share me his /her kind reply.
    Many thanks

All things considered it would be impractical to make the cream at home. I don't think you could do the chemistry cheaply. I am not sure if there's a generic or natural alternative. Is there any health insurance you can get? If it is a prescription usually it would be covered. Otherwise you might just have to use it on parts that are routinely visible.

It is a cosmetic disease unfortunately which means it's drugs are more expensive. That is all I have, I am limited knowledge of this.

I think your best bet would be to stay with the doctor and try and pay for the prescription cause at least you know that the cream is legit. I get my cream from a pharmacy here in the US. I don't really trust other sources.
