Several weeks ago I noticed a pea sized, white lump on my perineum. I looked at it in a hand mirror today and saw it has a small cut/opening. It is only painful or uncomfortable when I touch it roughly or wipe hard. I'm worried and concerned about what this could be. Will this affect sexual activities and Is it contagious?

Since we can't see it (please don't post a picture) or culture it, we cannot give you any insight into what it might be. You will need to seek medical attention, in person, for a proper diagnosis and treatment.
