So I'm 20 years old and started working for this company which is managed by a woman in her early 30s. She has spoken little to me, and gives me the odd smile or 'good morning'. She has minimal conversation with all employees and chooses to only converse with fellow management. However I noticed that she's extra cold towards me. She's known as the ice queen at work and everyone avoids her, but I can't help but notice how she's extra awkward around me, and it's as though she's thrown of track whenever I'm around her. I'll also catch her staring at me when I'm not looking and I feel as though she checks me out too. Sometimes when she's forced to talk to me she'll be really mean but it seems as if she's amused by tormenting me. I try my hardest not to let her realise that she makes me feel awkward or embarrassed.

Whenever I'm laughing or talking to somebody else I'll catch her staring from the corner of my eye.. And once I bumped into her by mistake and she seemed so flustered by a small bump. I quickly apologized and walked away, but she said nothing. I've realised how extremely hot she is! Her persona or being such a mean ice queen seems to be a professional facade but it's sooo attractive! She's sexy as hell, but I don't want her to realise I'm attracted to her. Is there sexual tension between us or is it only one sided?

Do you guys think she's attracted to me or is this all in my imagination? I feel as though she either despises me or is attracted to me? And if she does like me, how can I initiate something with her?

Only she knows how she feels. We can't even begin to guess. Heck, you know her, and you have no idea. How can a group of strangers, that don't know her, even guess what she's feeling?

Attracted or not, she's your boss. It's not a good idea to initiate a romantic relationship with your boss, especially if she doesn't feel that way. It's called sexual harassment if you do, and she doesn't reciprocate. Even if she's also attracted to you, it would not be a good idea for either of you to pursue a personal relationship.

Let it go. Find someone you don't work with.

I haven't been as attracted to anyone before as much as her, I feel like I need to give it a shot, and I'll soon be leaving for a new job and don't want regret that I never made a move with her...

You're an employee. She's the manager. Her job is to make sure you are doing the work you are supposed to do and not wasting time chatting or otherwise goofing off. I don't get any sense that she is attracted to you.

Then talk to her about it. Tell her you're hot for her, and think that her being mean to you means she's hot for you too. Tell her you want to pursue a relationship, or at least try to have one with her.

Hopefully the new job starts soon, because if she's not into you, she'll not only fire you, she can legally go after you for sexual harassment.

It's really up to you. No one can tell you if she feels about you the way you feel about her. Only she knows.

Me, I'd wait until she wasn't my employer anymore.

Control yourself at work and keep it all business. Sexual harassment is the kind of thing that looks bad on your resume. Like your next employer won't ask. It doesn't matter whether she likes you or not, being she has a job to protect also. She may be keeping an eye on you to make sure you are doing your job. Or you may just be carried away by YOUR own feeling of attraction.

Why take a chance on your job by assuming?

The fact that you are even asking total strangers what SHE is thinking based on what YOU describe shows how incredibly naïve you are. The fact that your title presents an 'either or' case of lesbian or 'mean cow' shows a tendency to draw very narrow conclusions.
Therefore - put a lid on the entire subject. A 20 year old needs a solid year on her resume for any given job, or she will pay for it for years.

Regardless of what she may or may not feel, she is your boss and she knows it. It would be inappropriate to approach you and it would be so for you to approach her.
This is a very immature and reckless thing to be doing. Do your job while you're there and leave this woman alone.
