    Treatment with antibiotics during pregnancy
    I'm 25 years old and I'm 10 weeks pregnant. My OB told me that my urinalysis and papsmear results show infections so she prescribed me to take amoxicillin, 3x a day for 7 days. Will this be safe for my developing baby? Please I need your opinion on this..

    Not to worry, amoxicillin is safe during pregnancy.

    J_9 is spot on. Since your OB prescribed it, you can be satisfied that it is safe. Amoxicillin is one of several antibiotics that are considered safe during pregnancy.
