    Implantation Bleeding? TMI
Hey guys! Ill make this as simple as I can. Trying to conceive.. 34 day cycles.. LMP was on February 18th.. No AF since. Been having lots of sex. On April 18 after sex.. noticed literally 2 tiny drops of red blood/mixed w cm when I wiped.. then next day wiped a tan color w cm. And the following day.was a little brown.. (ONLY when I semi-manually checked.. didn't leak out) now its like a week later and still no AF. No other symptoms.. any one have IB?

Implantation bleeding, as our resident OB Nurse will say, is one of the most misunderstood and misapplied phenomenon associated with pregnancy. It is actually really rare to occur. It is also hard to distinguish between this and normal mid cycle spotting. Could it be implantation bleeding? Maybe.

At this point I could be taking a home pregnancy test. You've more than missed your coming period by about four weeks. That will give you the proper answer and is more accurate then what you found there.

    Hi bella282,

Some women will notice some spotting, some women won't see anything. More and more doctors and midwives are realizing that it is not as uncommon as once thought, although it is not something the majority of women will notice in their pregnancy. Women, like yourself, who are trying to conceive, will often be extra vigilant in watching for the possibility.

As CravenMorhead said, it would be a good idea to take a pregnancy test. The spotting you experienced may be from implantation, or it could very well be from the recent sex that you had. Since you are well overdue for your period, either try a home pregnancy test or see your doctor for a test there.
