I am shradha from india. I'm female 27 yrs age. Its been last 5 months I have dark circles and puffy eyes. I had big round eyes but now its getting smaller and swollen. I don't have any vision problems. I eat good , vegetables, carrots and fruits and everythng. I drink plenty of water and I take sufficient sleep of 7-8 hrs. sometimes I also sleep during day fr maximum 2 hrs. I don't have ny other disease. No other person in my family or ancestors had this problem. I look as if I'm very ill. I have tried various home remedies like... placing cucumbers, potato, cold tea bags, cold cotton pads, eye drops. But its nt helping. I am planning to get married this year and I don't want to look ill because of my eyes. Please suggest a helpful treatment. Please.

Some people just have dark circles without being unhealthy.

I had dark circles when young (not puffy) and was told by a doctor that I was anemic - blood work showed low hematocrit. I wonder if you are lacking in iron in your diet? If you are vegetarian, you have to go out of your way to get it in just a few foods that have it. Women need a little more iron than men because they lose some when menstruating. Of course, you can take iron as a pill.
You could have allergies in addition.
