    If sewer water is backing up and into your basement shower then I suspect that the problem is going to be connected to the MAIN DRAIN of the entire house. This will require a plumber or a drain service technician to clear the drain unless you think you want to attempt this, and in that case, let us know and we'll see if we can talk you through all the steps, OK?
