My sister owned 2 apartment buildings one she had big problems keeping them rented, she was trying to sell that one! She had a mortgage on it and taxes and insurance, it was costing her money from her income to support this one!

Her boyfriend lives in another area and she lives with him 3 out of 4 weeks a month! She drives to his house to stay with him! He works about half the time so my sister covers his utilities and food! Whenever someone moves out of the apartment and she needs to re rent it then it has to be painted! She goes and picks up boyfriend and he paints apartment and charges her! Not less but more than getting someone local! She feels this is OK because this is a rental unit! What do you All think?

Its her apartment building... she can pay as much or as little as she wants. It affects her income... nobody else's.

It's her business. Unless she is asking for money to make ends meet, it's nobody's business but hers.
I think it's silly, but if she does not care, so what?

Even as her sister you have to MYOB.

Lousy way to do business but its her business to do lousy.
