Hi. I have been getting a white discharge in my vagina every since I had glandular fever. I also am getting a sticky white substance in my mouth as will that sticks to the sides of my mouth and lips. My docter has said it has been thrush but I hVe been on medication and it keeps coming back. What else can I do?

Are you staying hydrated. Oral thrush and a yeast infection are both yeast overgrowths in moist environments. How long has it been since you had the glandular fever? Your normal flora in both your mouth and vagina could have been mucked up when you had the fever and the resulting antibiotics (assuming). As well are you sexually active? Your lover could be a phantom carrier, meaning he carries but doesn't express the symptoms, and giving it back to you when you suck his... or ride his... penis.

It might be worth it to get your lover tested and go through another round of medication for Yeast infections both orally and vaginally.

I last went to my doctor 2 months ago and had blood tests done when he said that I no longer had glandular fever . I am sexually active yes. Thank you for your help
