Okay so I ended my period and had unprotected sex 2 days after it was finished.. The next day I drank alcohol.. and the day after I noticed I was spotting. I don't know if that was excessive period I still had, or if there's a possibility I got pregnant and something's wrong.. It still hasn't been 72 hours.. So I was thinking of taking Plan B just in case.. BUT is there still a chance that I'm pregnant? I usually have a 28-29 day cycle and my period is 5-6 days long. HELP!

There is a chance you're pregnant. Penis in Vagina with NO birth control means you've got a fair chance of being pregnant. It is all a matter of when you ovulate. The common wisdom is that you ovulate about two weeks after your period starts. The caveat to that is that not all women ovulate on that date. Some will ovulate beforehand and some afterwards. So if you ovulated early than yes you have a chance. Unless you've been tracking there is really no way to know when you do. So with all that fuzzy information what does it mean? Yes you could be pregnant. I the spotting a sign that you are or aren't pregnant? Nope. Spotting can occur at any time for no reason. The only REAL symptom for pregnancy is a missed period, which you'll have to wait until may for and until the beginning of June to test for. The conventional wisdom is that you should wait two weeks after a missed period to test and use early morning urine so that you can get accurate results.

Unprotected sex + no birth control = possible pregnancy, but its way to early to tell, so try not to trip out. You have no choice but to wait and see if your next period comes.
