Me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex this past Saturday.. I don't mean to gross anybody out and I'll try to keep it clean as possible… Usually he pulls out before he cums but this time he didn't.. His ***** came out and I had to put it back in and I noticed it was soft… It hadn't registered in my mind that he might have came inside me until after we were completely through. I asked him if he did and he admitted to it. He's convinced that I'm not but I'm worried about it…


My period isn't due until the 30th and it's the 21st today..


If him not stopping right after, would that push the sperm further in or would it change anything?


What's the possibility that I could be legit pregnant?

How long would it take my body to realize it's carrying something?

So... you really were trying to get pregnant... because you both did everything possible to make sure it happened. That's what having unprotected sex is actually doing.

Whatever happened has happened... you have to sweat until you are 2 weeks late to even take a test. You can't do anything before then to find out.

Other than missed periods... its going to be 3 or 4 months before you start seeing any changes to your body you can notice as the result of the pregnancy.

I wasn't trying to get pregnant...

You had uprotected sex... what did you think was very likely to happen? Pregancy rates while having uprotected sex are astronomical compared to people actually using ANY real form of birth control.

He doesn't even have to even finish at all to make you pregnant, Pregnancy is possible from the moment he first inserts himself and the odds keep going up from there.

The time to worry about being pregnant is when your man and you say no to Mr. Condom.

A very basic sex ed lesson:

All birth control methods have a failure rate. You can increase and decrease the odds by correctly using your chosen method of birth control. "Pulling Out" is one of the least recommended because it is one of the easiest to use incorrectly.

Though pre-ejaculate/lubrication is not supposed to contain sperm, it can due to several factors including leaking valves and sperm left in the tubes after a recent ejaculation.

People who use the pull-out method with some success have spent several months to a year tracking ovulation (taking Basal Temperature and/or changes in cervical mucus) and abstaining during the most fertile period of the female cycle. While some women ovulate approximately 2 weeks after the beginning day of their period, some don't. Some even ovulate during their period. The male also has to be extremely aware of when he is getting close to ejaculating and pulling out well before that point.

During ovulation an egg is released from an ovary and waits for about 24 hours in the Fallopian Tube for sperm to arrive and possibly fertilize it. Then it travels down to the Uterus to be expelled with the lining during the next period if it wasn't fertilized or implant if it was.

If intercourse occurs before ovulation: Depending on conditions, sperm can survive in the female body for about a week. They can hang out in the Fallopian Tubes waiting for an egg to be released. If they have enough energy and other conditions are right, a sperm may fertilize an egg. If that happens, it takes about three days to a week for the fertilized to travel through the Fallopian tube down to the Uterus and to implant on the wall.

If you had sex on Saturday, it would be too soon to know since conception may not have occurred yet. It may not occur. You are now going to have to wait and see if this period is a 'normal' one or if you miss it. If you miss it, for best results wait two weeks and try a home pregnancy test. If it is not what you normally experience, wait until your next period and see if it is 'normal'.

It is not uncommon to have an irregular period or miss one especially if the female is stressed.

Or you can visit your doctor. Explain your concern and discuss what to do next including looking into better forms of birth control.
