I had unprotected sex last night and am scheduled to get nexplannon tomorrow afternoon.. but what would happen if I ended up pregnant after getting the implant? Would it hurt the baby? What should I do?

Likely you kept your appointment, but if you happened to be right before a period it would be unlikely that you would become pregnant. Usually the implant is inserted within a few days of a period starting to help decrease the possibility of a possible pregnancy at the time of insertion.

Yes it can hurt the baby so if your planning on keeping it in, I suggest abortion. You can also get pregnant even though your still getting it in.

The recommendation is simply for removal of the implant if a pregnancy occurs. An abortion would not be necessary simply due to having used the implant.
