I have smoked marijuana 3 times in the past 90 days! (Very small amounts) and I don't smoke regularly at all. The last time was about 3 weeks ago and I will have a hair follicle test around May 1st! Will I pass the test? Or will that be such a minimal amount, that I will pass?

You will likely fail.

I used to smoke a couple hits - literally, 2 or 3 - once, every 2 to 4 weeks. I had to take a hair follicle test and I did test negative. Granted, I was legal to smoke at the time this happened, but the testing agency did not know that I had a medical mj card when they tested me. They did not ask and I didn't tell them ahead of time, but I was certainly ready to produce it had they questioned me. It never came to that. Just said I tested negative for everything.

Though if you know you're going to be tested. Stop doing it or risk the consequences.

A hair drug test is meant to show consistent use over time. A 1.5 inch sample of hair, cut at the scalp line, will go back 90 days. Three time in the last 90 days isn't enough to give you a positive on a hair drug test. It's hard to say what would be the minimal amount you could do and still pass. A lot depends on how strong the THC. It would not be the same with each person.
