I have been home since November 5th,2013. I have reapplied for S.S.I. they, for now has denied me. I am in the process of my appeal but I have been searching for a job since I came home. So now, I want to open up a real decent family shelter for those who need the assistance. I know how it feels when you are homeless and or no help from anyone. So, for women and their children, I want to start a home for them. I CAN GET PAID AS WELL AS LIVE THERE AND MOST OF ALL PROVIDE A SAFE HAVEN FOR THOSE WOMEN IN NEED.

Many ex cons get their first jobs out of prison in half way houses and shelters. Your cause is noble, but it's much more difficult and expensive to start a new place than you can possibly imagine. There are no 'grants' (despite those scams you see all over the net). If there are no shelters for women in your area, start with talking with some churches. Try not to think in terms of a paycheck right away.
