Hey there. I'm a nurse on probation that randomly test via urine ETG for alcohol. I didn't know some "non-alcoholic" ginger beers contained a very small amount of alcohol. I know I checked the label of the ginger beer I drank and it said there was alcohol content however I'm just paranoid there is still a chance I may test positive. I drank 1 non-alcoholic ginger beer Friday at 11pm and am going to test today, Tuesday at 6pm. I know this sounds crazy, but if there was a small amount of alcohol in that drink would I even test positive? Thanks so much! I'm 5'10 158lbs.

Something like that would have trace ammounts... not significant percentages... I assume you didn't drink a case of it where the "trace" ammounts became a significant quantity.

Thanks again! I just had 1 ginger beer Friday night at 11pm. Testing today at 6pm Tuesday. You think I'll test positive? Even though it was a non -alcoholic beverage?

Wow thanks! Sorry to bug you for one last question. Even if there was 0.5% alcohol I didn't think ETG via urine would detect this after 72 hours of abstinence. Trace amounts would still show?

Unlikely... Consider regualr beer is more like 4.5%, wine is like 12 - 14%.

Its all about actual quantity... and in a single can or bottle... there is very little in one... and I don't think somethig like that has even 0.5%, but something even less.

If you drank it on the way to the test... it might pick it up.
