I have not found the answer to this questions anywhere I have looked.

I am F-1 visa holder,I have had this status for less than 5 years. I am a Non resident Aliens with no dependent. I received a 1990 MISC. The amount is on box 3 (other incomes)


Should I file the form 1040 NR-EZ? If I do, where do I put the amount that appears on box 3? Or should I file another 1040 form?

I believe I have answered this by email, but I will post it here as well.

Box #3 income on the Form 1099-MISC should be listed on Schedule C, which is submitted with Form 1040NR (NOT Form 1040NR-EZ).

You want to submit Schedule C so you can claim the expenses incurred while earning this money.
