Hi I'm a 21 year old female who experienced a miscarriage last yr. My fiancé and I have been trying to conceive since then. I think it might be too early to confirm but as a female that two week wait is a death sentence! My last period was march 9th-14th. My cycles are around 35 days making today the 35th day. We've had plenty intercourse especially around my expected ovulation (I don't chart so I don't know exactly). My symptoms don't point in the direction of pregnancy any more than pms so I'm not sure. Instead of my period, I'm getting a lot of white creamy discharge and my libido is through the roof! Someone help! I'm afraid to test (I can't handle a negative result). What should I do?

You should wait until you're at least 2 weeks late, then test using first morning urine. If that test is negative, wait for your next period, and if you miss it, test again or get a blood test done.

I wish there were a way to diagnose pregnancy online, since we get a lot of questions like yours. Sadly there isn't a way. The only way to diagnose pregnancy is with a urine test, a blood test, an ultrasound in later pregnancy, or giving birth.

It is hard to wait, but that's what every women that's trying to conceive, and even those that aren't, has to do. It's part of the process. There's no way around it.
